Gullin' it: seagull simulator

The No. 1 free to play Seagull Simulator (or that’s what it aspires to be!).  You’re a beach raiding sand chicken. Always  hungry. Pick your gull, dive at unsuspecting snackers, and get the ice cream straight out of their hand.  Or just raid the bins!

This is just a demo now - than maybe more if people are enjoying it! (Ai disclaimer: yes I'm relying on Ai for this, if you want to help me develop the art and level design, please get in touch).

How to play

• Hold flap to climb; release it to glide. Aim down and dive to build speed. Pull up during the dive, then peck at the right moment to steal food.
• Land beside picnic bags and bins, then peck until something falls out.
• If a rival gull steals food, chase them down and steal it back.
• Hit the sand beak-first and you’ll lose half your points.

Phone and tablet

Press anywhere on the beach to place a floating movement stick, then drag your thumb to steer. The aiming reticle stays ahead of the gull instead of hiding beneath your finger. Use your other thumb for the FLAP, DIVE and PECK buttons. Touch controls also have a little aim assistance during dives—but you still need to time the peck.

Have big plans about a stage two set on the sea and dodging whales..  but this is still an early demo to see if people like it. So would really need some feedback on:

• Did the dive feel fast but fair? Was stealing food satisfying?
• How did the new phone controls feel?
• Should this eventually have multiplayer?
